Gregory Darling, AST Managing Director, has made his first call on Inmarsat’s  IsatPhone Pro.

Helen Stalker, Inmarsat GSPS Commercial Director, received the call on her mobile while giving a presentation on the  IsatPhone Pro launch at Singapore’s CommunicAsia.

The AST MD was calling from Norfolk, England.

Mark Sykes, AST Head of Airtime, confirmed that Darling had just witnessed another debut of a very different kind.  He quipped: “At the same time Inmarsat was launching the IsatPhone Pro in Singapore, he was delivering a calf back in the English countryside.“

The  IsatPhone Pro launched globally this week (15 June) to great acclaim.
